The role is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, performance analysis, cost optimization, inventory management, and decision support across factories and supply chain functions in Americas (North America + LATAM). The position works closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, and Commercial teams to improve profitability, productivity, and service performance.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Lead annual budget, rolling forecast, and mid-term planning processes for factory and supply chain costs.
  • Develop financial models to evaluate operational scenarios and productivity initiatives.
  • Support monthly business reviews and performance reporting.
  • Monitor labor, overhead, maintenance, utilities, material usage variance, and conversion costs
  • Act as trusted advisor to the Business Partners. Together with the Business Partner, identify productivity and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support capital expenditure evaluations and post-investment tracking
  • Track and analyze inventory levels, supply chain costs, warehousing, transportation, and service KPIs.
  • Provide actionable insights on risks and opportunities. Challenge assumptions and drive data-based decision making.
  • Deliver variance analysis and root cause identification

About you:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Data Scientist or related field, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Controlling and/or FP&A and/or Reporting with obligatory accounting understanding
  • Prior experience in plant controlling or operations desirable
  • Data analytics and reporting skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English, with proven experience creating management reports in Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
  • Advanced Excel skillset (Tables, Pivot Tables, lookups variants)
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and oral.
