ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Sourcing & Sustainability Program Manager is responsible for managing the Portfolio of projects in Sourcing & Sustainability specialized in structuring, developing and managing PMOs (Project Management Offices). Expertise in implementing methodologies, frameworks and processes to ensure efficient delivery of projects aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
This role requires strategic oversight of Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks, coordinating resources and budgets, and ensuring compliance with sourcing & sustainability standards. Reporting to the Sourcing and Sustainability Director, the position works closely with internal teams, clients, service providers, external partners and farmers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Project Management:

This position will lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time, within scope, and under budget.

Skilled in developing and implementing strategic project plans, optimizing workflows, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Oversee recruitment and eligibility verification, ensuring alignment with program standards.
Program Implementation & Monitoring:

Define and implement methodologies, standards and tools for project management in collaboration with Sourcing & Sustainability team.

Develop and monitor KPIs related to project performance.

Provide technical support and guidance to project managers.

Perform periodic audits to ensure projects comply with best practices and defined processes.

Create and maintain management reports, ensuring visibility on project status and progress.

Identify and mitigate risks related to the project portfolio.

Provide training and workshops to train the team in project management tools and processes.

Manage and prioritize resource demands across different projects.

Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

Inspire and motivate team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
Scope & Additional Considerations:

Geographical: Brazil - traditional and non-traditional cocoa regions;
-
Communication: Regular interaction with stakeholders for program updates, audits, and data validation.

Travel Requirements: Approximately 50%, including field visits and stakeholder meetings.

Other Requirements: Strong familiarity with rural and fieldwork environments during visits.
ABOUT YOU:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Agriculture, Sustainability, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Solid experience in Project Management and Technical Leadership Skills.

Advanced analytical and technical skills change management;
-
Thorough understanding of business processes, operations, and external environments, including competitor trends.

Mandatory Advanced English / Spanish is a plus.
