About the Role
The Manager FP&A Cocoa Sourcing is a key member of the Global Cocoa Finance organization and is responsible for financial analysis, performance reporting, forecasting and valuation activities supporting Barry Callebaut (BC) Sourcing.
The role works closely with trading, logistics, risk management, accounting and finance teams to provide transparency on financial performance and support informed decision-making. Through exposure to commodity markets, derivatives, supply chain finance and international trade, the position offers a unique opportunity to develop deep finance expertise within one of the world's leading cocoa sourcing organizations.
With increasing experience, the role is expected to take on broader responsibility for complex analyses, key finance processes, and the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Owns the monthly financial closing and reporting activities for BC Sourcing
- Responsible for daily commodity valuation activities and weekly mark-to-market reporting
- Supports financial analysis related to trading performance and commodity market developments
- Supports forecasting and budgeting activities by providing reliable financial insights and recommendations
- Analyzes supply chain costs and operational performance drivers across the sourcing organization
- Translates complex financial information into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders for business partners and trading team
- Contributes to the broader Global Trading & Sourcing (GT&S) financial planning and performance management processes
- Continuously improves valuation methodologies, reporting quality and analytical tools
About You
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, audit, transaction advisory, corporate finance or other analytical finance functions
- In depth understanding of derivatives finance and financial markets. Interest in commodity markets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, data analytics or programming would be an advantage
- Fluent English is required; additional languages are considered a plus
