About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Investor Relations professional to act as a close partner to the Head of Investor Relations across all core IR activities. You will play a key role in shaping investor communications, supporting engagement with the investment community and working closely with senior leadership. The role is ideal for an experienced IR or capital markets professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and wants to help build a best-in-class Investor Relations function.

 

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Investor communication and disclosure
    • Lead and coordinate preparation for quarterly earnings and key investor communications, leading drafting of earnings releases, presentations, scripts, Q&A documents, annual report and other supporting materials
    • Shape clear, consistent and compelling narratives around financial performance, strategy and long-term value creation
    • Ensure accuracy, clarity and alignment of messaging and continuously enhance equity story
  • Investor & analyst engagement
    • Play a central role in virtual and in-person investor and analyst meetings, conferences and roadshows
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors and sell-side analysts, serving as a responsive and credible point of contact
    • Lead investor targeting and engagement strategies, track and synthesize investor feedback, sentiment and positioning
    • Monitor sell‑side analyst coverage, models and consensus expectations
  • Financial analysis, market intelligence & insights
    • Build and maintain financial models, valuation frameworks and scenario analysis to support IR messaging and strategy
    • Monitor and synthesize market trends, industry/peer developments, macro factors and capital markets dynamics
    • Prepare concise insights and briefings for senior leadership and Board of Directors
  • Team & functional support
    • Support the development and execution of Barry Callebaut’s overall IR program and strategy
    • Actively coach and develop more junior team members, particularly in financial analysis and capital markets fundamentals
    • Cross‑functional collaboration with Strategy, FP&A, Accounting, Communications, Legal and other internal stakeholders

 

About You

  • 5-8 years’ experience in Investor Relations at a listed company, and/or sell-side or buy-side equity research, investment banking or similar capital markets role
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, investor perspectives and public company disclosures with experience working with institutional investors and financial analysts
  • Industry experience in consumer, food or ingredients is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with IR and capital markets platforms (e.g. FactSet, Bloomberg, NASDAQ)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies and drivers of long-term shareholder value
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft credible and compelling narratives and presentations for senior leadership and external stakeholders
  • Proven financial modelling and analytical capability, with ability to interpret, challenge and explain assumptions and outcomes
  • Ability to synthesize and translate complex financial, operational and strategic topics into clear and impactful investor-ready narratives
