About the Role
We are currently hiring for our next Head of Sourcing for our General Services category. This role is responsible for strategically managing and optimizing the procurement and supplier relationships for general services that support our operations. This includes services in the area of professional services, digital, marketing, HR, office supplies, travel and other support services. Key focus of the role will be on optimizing supplier performance, reducing costs, ensuring supply continuity and driving value for the organization.
Key Responsibilities include:

Manages Spend analyses

Defines the sourcing strategy for the categories in scope above a certain value either for a global, regional or complex scope.

Implements strategies of purchasing in order to minimize the total costs of ownership

Accountability for the category in scope

Manages complex files and assigns sub-categories / projects to team members (if applicable)

Leading and managing the team

Works closely with Cross Functional Teams (Digital, HR, Legal, Marketing, CSD, etc) in order to capture the needs of cross-departments

Runs market research, RFx, tender analyses and proposes interim tender allocation focusing on cost management (TCO), negotiates commercial and legal terms with the short-listed suppliers, proposes final supplier awards and prepares/negotiates contracts incorporating CFT inputs

Follows up the Contract implementations

Manages the supplier relationships for the scope of Framework Agreements (price revisions, escalations for complaints, annual review meetings) with key suppliers

Where applicable creates system contracts, system price lists

Builds market knowledge for the categories in scope, monitors new solutions (sustainable, lower cost but still fit for use, TCO) and proposes choices to the Cross Functional Teams.

Continuously monitors / Proposes / Implements strategic changes for the scope, in the way of working

Works towards business targets (savings, category improvements, working capital)
About You

University degree
-
Has a minimum 6-8 years experience of relevant category management in an international environment with experience of Digital category management

Demonstrable track record of leading a team

Strong negotiation skills
