About the Graduate Program

Our 2 year international graduate program offers a global perspective to bright, young talents like yourself and is an exciting opportunity to deepen your expertise in an area that you are passionate about. The program starts every September and is launched in Barry Callebaut’s most strategic locations around the globe, where our Graduate's expertise is valued and entrepreneurship fostered

 

About the Opportunity

We are offering you the opportunity to further develop your career within our Sourcing department.  Over the 2 year term you will have the opportunity to gain experience across core areas including Sourcing Analytics and Sustainability.  You will gain significant international experience with the opportunity to undertake at least one rotation abroad.

 

Over the 3 rotations you will gain experience and actively contribute by:

 

  • Mapping suppliers’ current status on each core aspect of our charter and define a priority action plan

  • Supporting in organizing and analyzing the data with regards to traceability and supplier sustainability performance and deriving strategic insights and planning going forward

  • Support the sustainability team to further analyze, consolidate and extract the value of their database

  • Working with IT/IM team to automatize further our connections, consolidate our database and provide analysis across various markets including oils, fats, dairy and vanilla

  • Supporing the optimization and use of models

  • Supporting sustainability efforts in one of the regions working on supplier development and sustainable sourcing projects (e.g. in cane sugar or palm oil)

  • Supporting efforts on increasing sales for sustainable ingredients

  • Supporting the sustainability team to further analyze, consolidate  and extract the value of their database

 

About You

  • Finance related eduation / university degree
  • Solid agronomic background

  • Strong interest/training in data management, analytics and statistics.

  • Experience in sustainability approaches is a plus

  • Naturally curious, flexible and proactive

  • Strong communication / presentation skills

  • Fluency in English, Spanish is a plus

  • Familar with database management, SQL, SAP, Excel macro, Tableau, R

 

NB:  To qualify for our graduate program applicants must bring a minimum of a total of 18 months work experience and must hold a Bachelors Degree preferably complimented with a Masters Degree.
