About the Graduate Program:

Our 2 year international graduate program offers a global perspective to bright, young talents like yourself and is an exciting opportunity to deepen your expertise in an area that you are passionate about. The program starts every September and is launched in Barry Callebaut’s most strategic locations around the globe, where our Graduate's expertise is valued and entrepreneurship fostered


About the Opportunity:

We are offering you the opportunity to further develop your career within our Group Finance department.  Over the 2 year term you will have the opportunity to gain experience across 3 core areas including Group Accounting & Risk, Group Treasury, and Global Cocoa & Sourcing.  You will gain significant international experience with the opportunity to undertake at least one rotation abroad.


Over the 3 rotations you will gain experience and actively contribute by:


  • Supporting annual accounts with particular focus on hedge accounting and valuation documentation
  • Supporting the rollout of commodity risk including support in training and following up on reported issues
  • Automating hedge documentation based on new commodity reporting landscape and foreign currency exposure management
  • Reporting and analysis particularly in relation to our sourcing activities
  • Supporting global projects & rollout of global initiatives
  • Supporting local team in valuation and accounting documentation
  • Supporting local team in commodity risk reporting and controlling including further optimization of reporting based on our core finance projects

NB:  To qualify for our graduate program applicants must bring a minimum of a total of 18 months work experience and must hold a Bachelors Degree preferably complimented with a Masters Degree.
