About the Role

We are looking for a Cocoa Pricing and Position Manager to join our team that will lead for the execution of the cocoa pricing based on global customer agreements. You will work closely with internal teams and external customers to align pricing strategies, support regional pricing teams and ensure smooth, accurate contract execution. Your ability to turn complex market movements into clear, actionable pricing insights will make you a trusted partner for customers and colleagues alike.

You will gain deep visibility into BCs global cocoa network (from origin to customer) and develop a strong understanding of global flows and market interdependencies. You will also help strengthen the connection between our Cocoa and Chocolate businesses by providing valuable cocoa insights that directly support chocolate commercial decisions. On top of that, you will have the opportunity to contribute to global projects and cross-functional initiatives that help our business to move forward.

 

Key Responsibilities include

  • Lead global cocoa pricing execution for major CPG customer agreements and ensuring accurate, timely and compliant contract implementation
  • Own end-to-end pricing coordination, from volume consolidation and cost calculation to market hedging, internal risk management and final contract booking
  • Be the central pricing partner for customers and internal teams: aligning on pricing strategies, answering complex pricing questions and leading negotiations when needed
  • Drive market quotations and ad-hoc pricing requests, supporting sales teams with fast, competitive and well-aligned customer proposals
  • Price new flows, products and customer agreements, ensuring profitability in close collaboration with Sales, Finance and Trading
  • Strengthen Cocoa and Chocolate business alignment by providing cocoa market insights that directly support downstream chocolate pricing and commercial decisions
  • Manage contract portfolios and SAP bookings, including extensions, balance reconciliation, intercompany contracts and terminal market adjustments
  • Build strong customer relationships, organizing regular meetings to ensure smooth execution of long-term agreements and unlock business opportunities
  • Support position management and hedging activities, ensuring accurate risk exposure tracking across regions and systems
  • Drive continuous process improvement, simplifying workflows, improving transparency and enhancing automation and reporting tools
  • Contribute to global projects, including cost optimization, flow optimization, contingency planning and supply chain efficiency initiatives
  • Analyze and report volumes, supporting forecasting, budgeting, demand planning and commercial decision-making

 

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in commodity trading, sales, pricing or risk management
  • Comfortable working independently, while at the same time being a collaborative team player
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Solid cocoa market expertise, including futures markets, bean origins, cocoa products and pricing mechanisms
  • Good understanding of supply chain and logistics, including Incoterms, contract structures and global cocoa flows
  • Experience with SAP and BW is an advantage
