About the Role
The Sales & Marketing Specialist is part of the Bakery & Pastry NL team. This person plays a central role in the team and is the right hand of the Sales Manager BAPA NL.
You will operate between marketing and sales. The core tasks include providing operational support, analyzing data and sales results, and executing concrete project-based tasks. In addition, you will provide specific sales and marketing support to Dutch BAPA wholesalers and larger BAPA NL end-users (like organizing small events & supporting marketing activities).
You will independently maintain direct contact with the sales and marketing departments and personnel of the wholesalers in a support role for both marketing and sales.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities
Internal
- Deliver periodic and ad hoc sales reports (results) for BAPA NL
- Process and analyze data received from wholesalers into reports monthly
- Analyze sales and marketing data into actionable information and documents
- Support the BAPA Sales Manager in preparing and executing internal and external meetings and gatherings
- Develop sales and marketing tools for the BAPA NL field sales team
External
- Provide input, content, and advice for maintaining and optimizing the web environments and web shops of the wholesalers
- Create newsletters aimed at BAPA NL for wholesalers
- Plan, organize, and execute BAPA NL trade fairs, wholesaler events, and meetings for (the branches of) BAPA NL wholesalers and industry partner organizations
About You
- Language skills: Dutch & English
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Technical affinity – proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is essential; experience with Power BI is a plus
- Creativity and digital skills are a must
- Detail-oriented
- Basic numerical affinity required
- Strong affinity with the gastronomic world (culinary training, chef experience, etc.) is a plus
- Commercial mindset
