We’re looking for a Regional Account Manager to grow and manage a portfolio of mid‑sized industrial B2B customers across the confectionery, bakery, dairy, and ice cream segments. You’ll be the main commercial contact for your accounts, driving profitable growth, building strong relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver the best solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a defined customer portfolio, delivering volume and margin targets
  • Build strong, long‑term customer relationships and ensure excellent CRM
  • Develop and execute account plans with the Sales Manager and cross‑functional teams
  • Identify new opportunities, lead prospection, and support innovation projects
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms in line with internal guidelines
  • Monitor raw material markets and ensure accurate forecasting
  • Collaborate with R&D, Technical Support, Pricing, Customer Care, and Supply Chain
  • Share customer insights and market intelligence with internal teams
  • Ensure high‑quality reporting and data accuracy

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Sales & Marketing, or similar
  • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in the B2B food industry
  • Strong commercial skills: negotiation, presentation, listening, customer engagement
  • Fluent Dutch + English
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Willingness to travel frequently within country (and to our office in Belgium)
  • Knowledge of chocolate or food manufacturing is a plus
  • You are a strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • You are analytical, structured, and eager to learn
  • You are comfortable working in a fast‑paced, complex environment
  • You have Entrepreneurial, hands‑on, and solution‑oriented mindset
  • You have Customer‑centric mindset with strong empathy
