About the role
 

We are looking for a Pricing Manager, Corporate Accounts.  In this role close follow up on the customers, close coordination with the Trading Desk, Global Accounts commercial team, Global Cocoa Planning, Supply Chain and Customer Service as well as a sound understanding of the Cocoa market is required. The Pricing Manager will do the Cocoa Pricing for Key Customers with overall agreements; as well as follow up on the contract execution and resolve issues in a pragmatic and independent manner
 
Key responsibilities include

 

  • Differential quoting for Combo agreements, terminal market fixation of the differentials (in alignment with the trading desk Zurich and Asia), calculating and sending quotations based on the global agreement as well as market prices for ad hoc quotes and instructing the contract booking globally (inter-company and third party)
  • Negotiating new terms for new flows, new products or terms which are not agreed in the global agreement 
  • Active contract management (contract extensions, contract balance reconciliation, contract changes etc) including the respective inter-company contracts and including terminal market switches of the differentials
  • Customer Care Activities, Finding solutions and answers for all kind of problems and requests coming from or related to customers (e.g. delivery issues, QA issues, certificates, spot requests, sample requests)
  • Annual cost update for the global agreement (transformation fees, transport costs etc)
  • Work on different projects with the customer (e.g. potential savings, sku reduction, contingency plans, cost optimized flows to new destinations etc)
  • Putting costs together and simulating prices for new products, recipe changes and new flows
  • Analyzing forecasted, booked and delivered volumes. Double check with the customer and provide Planning, Sales and Customers with requested information
  • Organize and manage regular customer meeting to discuss resolve open points
  • Ensure knowledge transfer and introduction of new team members into the Corporate Account pricing and management. Ensure efficient team work and back up

 

About you

 

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar role/ Experience in commodity sector and/or position/risk management, hedging is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High self-motivation, flexible and structured
  • Strong analytical skills and stress resistance
  • Costumer focused and Team player
  • Fluent in English. German and/or French are nice to have
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
