This position is base on Toluca Plant (Parque Industrial San Cayetano)



Responsible for ensuring that the plant operation and all the products produced comply with the Quality Standards and Requirements established by the Barry Callebaut Corporate, the FSSC 22000 Standard, as well as the specifications of each of our customers through supervision, monitoring, updating and timely reporting of the information related to each of the materials and products used in the production process, always maintaining the commitment to food safety.



  • Supervise the work of the Quality personnel assigned
  • Manage and resolve with the support of the QA and HR Manager any labor incident of personnel; Document, report and file.
  • Support in the identification of the training needs of Quality personnel. Validate the required training with the QA and HR Manager.
  • Establish the necessary strategies to achieve the objectives set by the QA Manager and / or the Operations and Plant Manager in relation to the Quality or Production area.
  • Responsible for the compliance, control, analysis, monitoring, application and / or reporting of the following operations:
  • Ensure compliance with the policies and procedures of Quality, Food Safety, Defense of Food, Health and Regulatory Affairs required by the corporate, the FSSC 22000 standard, by clients or by regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure the monitoring and fulfillment of the requirements in plant like: order, cleanliness, process conditions, PCC, OPRP, filling of records, formulations, safety conditions and GMP.
  • Monitor and report quality incidents in Raw Material, Packaging Material, Storage, Process Conditions, Product in Process, Finished Product and Shipping Conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with the Prerequisite program in the plant.
  • Ensure proper monitoring and compliance with the entire HACCP System. He is a member of the HACCP Team.
  • Responsible for the detention and release of finished materials in the plant due to receipt, analysis, rejection or any other matter related to quality, safety or regulatory.
  • Audits of the physicochemical properties measurement process, Sensory evaluations of RM, in process product and FP.
  • Manage tests whether of clients, corporate or internal.
  • Responsible for the Document Control System that includes but is not limited to the elaboration and implementation of the procedures and documentary records of the plant related to the topics of Process, Quality Assurance, Sensorial, among others.
  • Manage the Physic-Chemical Laboratory activities; Coordinate the traceability exercise of the plant
  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting, closing and disposing of material from a supplier non-conformity.
  • Responsible for the update, implementation and control of the MP, ME and PT specifications on the floor.
  • Responsible for the update, implementation and control of the specifications of new products and Transfers
  • Operational validation, is Responsible for the administration of the Quality Certificates for each customer according to their specification with the support of the Microbiology Laboratory Coordinator, as well as configurations needed on SAP.




  • •           Advanced conversational English
  • Experience in food industry (8-10 years)
  • Experience in the quality department (5-8 years)
  • Food chemistry basics
  • Advance knowledge of FSSC 22000 and HACCP system
  • Previously work and manage the laboratory activities
  • Microbiological, HACCP and Pre-requisites basics
  • SAP user on regular basis
  • Basics of statistical control process
