Reporting to the Shipping Coordinator, the Logistics Analyst is responsible for planning, directing and monitoring transportation and distribution activities so that the organization's goods and materials are transported safely and profitably and arrive at their destination on time and in good condition.

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Carry out traffic processes through SAP
  • Ensure the correct registration and assignment of units in the TMS system.
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring shipments daily to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Develop transportation routes for deliveries to new gourmet businesses such as bakeries
  • Monitor the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization and equipment protection and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure team resources are used effectively and work schedules and objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service the delivery of products (BC CHOICE), establishing dates and times for each transport (local).
  • Supervise that the orders to be shipped are free in the system (order pull)

 

About you:

 

  • Professional with a degree in Foreign Trade, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum experience of 2 years in high consumption, retail, B2B companies
  • Conversational English.
  • SAP experience
  • TMS system management preferably.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Power BI and Pivot Tables is a plus
