JOB SUMMARY & PURPOSE                                                                


The Shift leader Production manager, direct and implement operational strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of key operational goals in the short-term, mid-term and long-term in order to accomplish customer requirements, ensuring food and people safety.



  • Plan, manage, and monitor production activities within an assigned area to maximize the use of the organization’s resources and meet established production specifications and schedules; volume, efficiencies, wastage targets and quality standards.
  • Implement manufacturing schedules and procedures. Allocate labor and resources to maximize productivity.
  • Analyze production, maintenance, and malfunction records to identify problems and solutions that will improve performance.
  • Liaise with functional and operational area coordinators (for example quality, warehouse, planner, food safety) to understand their current product needs, develop plans and schedules for integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance or downtimes to minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules.
  • Lead and evaluate various production activities such as machine operation, processing, treating, or packaging.
  • Drive performance against relevant department KPI’s. Act as leader and trainer on Safety, Food Safety and Quality matters. Ensure cross developmental collaboration and represent the department.



  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Food Science or similar
  • 2 to 3 years experience in production environment; including food manufacturing methods, process improvement programs, and procedures.
  • Availability to work in 3 rotative shifts
  • intermediate knowledge MS Office and SAP 
  • Managerial skills
  • Experience in leading manufacturing teams, increasing manufacturing efficiencies.
  • Continuous Improvement and basic project management.
  • English - intermediate level.
