About the role

 

Lead the new business development of Direct Business and Food Services Business following Japan sales & marketing strategy, and driving growth in West & South Japan.  Pursue new business opportunities and network with customers to establish long-term business relationships. This is a key position within the organization that will involve assisting in the development of the company strategy.

Key responsibilities include

  • New Business Development of Direct business and Food Services Business in West & South Japan.
  • Develop a sales plan to achieve Direct Business and Food Services Business Budget (Volume & NCM)
  • Nurture and grow the relationship with an existing key account.
  • Provide strategic input on volume, profitability, pricing strategy, and channel & customer strategy.
  • Support Sales Director for sustainable growth, following Japan strategy.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Chocolate Academy, Customer Services and other departments.
  • Identify the opportunity and risk factors in the business environment.
  • Internal Stakeholders:
  • Marketing: Visiting customer with them for business development. Working with them to prepare sales & Marketing strategy and plan
  • Chocolate Academy: Appreciation development based on customer requirement.; Technical support to customer
  • Factory: Factory visit
  • PD: Product development based on customer requirement
  • External Stakeholders
  • Distributor: Sales and volume management. New business development. Making a yearly joint business plan and execution.
  • Customer: Sales & volume management. New business development in west & south Japan
  • Making a yearly joint business plan and execution with semi-industry customers

 

About you

  • Proven experience in Key Account Management in out of the home market.
  • Bachelor degree
  • At least 10 years of proven experience in Sales.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in Business Development.
  • A series of successful experiences in building a good relationship with account and business influencers.
  • Business level of English ability.
  • IT skills are assumed.
