About the role
- This Finance Business Partner is responsible for the financial performance of two Clusters: Japan and Korea Country Clusters in the AMEA Region. He/She acts as a co-pilot and financial right hand of the Managing Director of these Country Clusters. This is a key leadership role to develop and support the strategy for growth, profitability, customer/product/market mix, investments and working capital management. These clusters combined are ~20% of AMEA’s portfolio.
- As the main Finance interface, this role supports and advises the Cluster Leadership Team in commercial and operational decision-making processes, drives change and recommends solutions to achieve the business goals and targets. This includes daily business decisions as well as long-term strategic decisions to maximize business results and value creation.
- The Finance Business Partner acts as a promoter of Finance digitalization and standardization initiatives and enables the transition into a new Finance operating model.
Key responsibilities include
- Act as a business partner to the Country Clusters Managing Director and the Commercial team, Provide meaningful decision support whilst influencing and challenging key decisions
- Develop together with the Managing Director and the Country Clusters team the commercial strategy and co-lead the strategy implementation through business objectives and tactics
- Drive the financial performance of the Country Clusters, focusing on growth, profitability and working capital management,
- Provide (together with FP&A) the business with analytical support to enable an understanding of the business dynamics
- Lead and coordinate projects to improve business performance, in particular volume, profitability and working capital improvements. Drive and coordinate commercial business case preparation
- Drive improvement initiatives of finance processes, with a focus on digitalization and standardization. Support transition and implementation of the new finance operating model
- Collaborate with Treasury to ensure the cluster entities have adequate funding to run operations. Collaborate with Accounting and FP&A to ensure accurate and timely close of books, in line with IFRS and BC Group standards
- Integrity and financial controls in the Clusters of the organization by using and building on data, information and intelligence from global finance functions
- Ensure financial compliance across the Country Clusters and represent BC interests to auditors and tax authorities; Closely cooperate with Tax team
About you
- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
- English business proficiency both written and oral is a must
- Extensive experience in Finance - prior roles in Accounting/FP&A/Business Partnering in multinational companies
- Leadership skills in managing people and networking with various stakeholders in the company
- Analytical/hands-on and very solution-oriented and performance-driven to achieve the targets
- Knowledge of SAP and Power BI
- IFRS and local GAAP knowledge
- At least 5 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering
- Excellent analytical skills: Proven track record for managing complexity, capable of distinguishing key elements in an intricate environment, capable of preparing detailed complex analyses and financial models
- Solid financial accounting skills including IFRS and local GAAP
- Solid SAP/ERP knowledge and experience
- Stakeholder management. Can interact and build strong relationships with staff from various departments and different levels; Able to create strong links and legitimacy with Business Leaders to drive changes throughout the organization.
