POSITION TITLE: Operator 3, Receiving Liquid
REPORTING TO: Supervisor
LOCATION: St. Albans, VT
About the role:
The Operator 3, Receiving Liquid is responsible of receiving liquid and block loads, organize team well as staging and re-melting rework and performing confirmations on SAP.
SHIFT HOURS: Wednesday 1:00pm - 7:15pm and Thursday Friday and Saturday 7:00am - 7:15pm

- Perform the duties of an Operator 2, Receiving Liquid
- Perform unloading of tankers and running of ovens
- Re-melting of product
- Verify viscosity of finished product and adjust as needed
- Operate equipment PLC’s.
- Performs required paperwork for inbound loads
- Perform Visco/QA checks and sampling.
- Maintain house-keeping standards of all areas in the department
- Staging and addition of rework material on the floor.
- Responsible to track and confirm material into SAP.
- Conduct basic and preventative maintenance, report improvements as needed
- Communicates through Team Board’s and with leadership team
- Leads small team projects
- Break coverage
- PTO coverage
- Train Level 2 and Level 3 Receiving Line Operators
About you:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to lead a small team through soft skills (delegation, teamwork, problem solving)
- Ability to operator power equipment including Forklift & Handcart
- Math skills, required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Minimum two (2) years food manufacturing experience, required
- Basic computer knowledge, required
- Trained in Quality/Sensory, preferred
- Trained in Chocolate Manufacturing, preferred
- Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
- Bend, squat, stretch, reach: frequently
- Ability to climb stairs, often
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often
- Comfortable working at heights
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility
- Noise level can exceed 0.85 decibels
