POSITION TITLE: Operator 2, Machine Liquid - Refiners
REPORTING TO: Supervisor, Production
LOCATION: St. Albans, VT

The Operator 2, Machine Liquid - Refiners position is responsible for staging and mixing raw materials on the lines.
SHIFT HOURS: Wednesday 1:00pm - 7:15pm and Thursday Friday and Saturday 7:00am - 7:15pm.

- Perform the duties of an Operator 1
- Enter recipe data according to production schedule
- Operate batch controller systems, perform data SAP entries
- Perform viscosity and quality checks on the line sampling
- Correct the consistency of paste in a mixer and transfer the chocolate as needed
- Operate equipment PLC’s
- Track inventory, clean magnets and document HACCP
- Cross train to perform all functions of an Operator 3, Machine Liquid
- Cross train to perform all functions of an Operator 3, Machine Liquid- Mixer
About you:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) year technical degree in mfg, preferred
- Computer Numerical Control (CNC) experience, preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Google Sheets, a plus
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Experience using a micrometer, preferred
- Basic computer usage (keyboard and mouse)
- Math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- One (1) year food manufacturing experience, required
- Ability to operate power equipment including forklift and hand card
- Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
- Bend, squat, stretch, reach; frequently
- Ability to climb stairs, often
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often
- Comfortable working at heights
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility
- Noise level can exceed .85 decibels
