Job Summary

Responsible for maximizing the site’s equipment assets in order to deliver expected results to our internal/external customers. This to include: documenting, prioritizing, planning, delivering and evaluating plant’s operational equipment reliability by analytical analysis of performance.

Additional focus areas are: loss elimination, risk mgt, life cycle asset mgt.

Will supervise technical team to improve/ rebuild equipment to maximize equipment performance.


Job Description

  1. Use Maximo data to determine trends for equipment failure and implement improvements to increase equipment reliability.
  2. Analyze preventative maintenance program in order to optimize (reduce and increase PM’s based on data/ results)
  3. Supervise a team to maximize corrective maintenance and installation of improvements to increase operational efficiency measured in mt/hr or total output.
  4. Develop tools to standardize the knowledge of personnel;
  5. Support the maintenance personnel in problem solving;
  6. Prepare and keep updated procedures as they relate to reliability tasks.

Job  Requirements

  1. Bachelor in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineer; with a minimum of five years’ experience. Previous work in a food plant is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
  2. Good knowledge in MS Office and IBM Maximo (CMMS)
  3. AutoCAD experience
  4. Allen Bradley PLC programming knowledge highly preferred.
Environmental Conditions

Must be able to work in all areas of the factory as well as office environment.

Tolerance for exposure to temperature extremes.

Comfortable with heights.
