POSITION TITLE: Coordinator, Shift
REPORTING TO: Supervisor
LOCATION: St. Albans, VT

The Coordinator, Shift position is responsible for the coordination of daily shift operations.
SHIFT HOURS: Thursday 1:00am - 7:15pm and Thursday Friday and Saturday 7:00pm - 7:15am SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $3.35
Key responsibilities include:

- Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirements
- Coordinate daily shift operations
- Audit shift and employee performance through SWF (Standard Work Form)
- Participate in shift meeting
- Review MUV report daily
- Create custom Pl’s, work on solving Pl’s with issues
- Balance all Pl’s, including order of proper paperwork, sign offs etc.
- Oversee line performance for quality, remelt and rates
- Manage projects
- Develop and improve written procedures
- Create and deliver training materials
- Train operators on paperwork flow and completeness
- Coordinate training of new team members
- Perform training sheets with operators
- Write up any NCR’s/placards as needed
- Contact IT for technical resolutions to Network, SAP, etc.
- Participate in EE PMP & improvement plans
- Prioritize Emergency maintenance
- Perform quality checks of product and advise on how to solve issues
- Fill in for Supervisor as needed
- Fill out First Report of Injury forms
About you:
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service skills
- Mechanical ability/aptitude, a plus
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Math Skills
- Computer skills; Excel and SAP, required
- Minimum three (3) years manufacturing experience, required
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, preferred
- Understand manufacturing process flow
- Trained in Quality/Sensory, required
- Trained in Chocolate tempering, required
- Class 3 Fork Lift certification, required
- Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
- Bend, squat, stretch, reach; frequently
- Ability to climb stairs, often
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often
- Comfortable working at heights
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility
- Noise level can exceed .85 decibels
