About the role

Finance Business Partner for the Global Sourcing Team Asia; supporting the Purchasing department with financial analysis, computing Calculations on trading profit for Cocoa, Ingredients and Indirect spend.


Key responsibilities include

  • Business partner for the APAC Purchasing team
  • Supporting the Sourcing Team on tasks relevant to the Actual Regional P&L i.e. calculation of Trading profits, Portfolio Analysis, Customer P&L for all Choco ingredients (Cocoa and Non-cocoa) and Indirect Spend
  • Actively assisting the Sourcing Team through Budget & Forecasting cycle preparation
  • Compiling management reporting for Regional Sourcing lead and related presentations (i.e. Internal quarterly reviews)
  • Preparing risk and physical positions against agreed limits on specific commodities, ensure limit compliance.
  • Ad hoc analysis (i.e. risk evaluation of new sourcing strategies / Pricing / Profit calculations)
  • Driving derivatives results in recognition and perform any related support and analysis
  • Financial Tracking Trading activity – Spec and hedging. Perform monthly valuation as input for hedge accounting
  • Safeguarding Processes and procedures within Sourcing (Internal Control)


About you

  • Higher education: Bachelor in Finance / Controlling or Business Administration, Masters preferable
  • Minimum 8 Years of applicable Finance / Controlling experience preferably developed in a Food processing environment. Experience with controlling, risk positions, incl derivatives management.
  • Very good presentation skills, ability to influence / strong collaboration skills
  • Organizational agility
  • Accuracy and an analytical mindset is key for this position
  • High analytical skills supported by very strong capabilities in MS Office & SAP R/3
  • Very strong oral and written skills in English
  • Good Stakeholder management, lead collaborations with Cross-functional Teams
  • Essential Experience/Knowledge: Food Industry Experience, FP&A, Risk Management, Derivatives management / Hedge accounting experience
  • Technical/Functional Competencies:  SAP, BW / BI/ BO, Microsoft Office, VBA preferred
