About the role

  • We are looking for a highly-motivated Sales Executive , a hunter, to accelerate the sales growth of our Gourmet brands (Van Houten Professional, Callebaut, Cacao Barry, Carma, Mona Lisa) to Bakery/Pastry customers,Cash & Carry outlets, restaurants & hotels in Singapore with a focus on large accounts
  • Key objectives: increase direct contact with end-users, grow our customer base, drive volume & profitability growth, increase brand awareness
  • This role could evolve towards a sales manager role with team lead responsibilities.


Key responsibilities include

  • Lead the growth of our Singapore business by increasing our end-user reach, raising brand awareness & broadening our customer base to achieve our ambitious growth targets in both sales volume & profitability
  • Identify priority segments/channels with largest potential for growth (Bakery/Pastry. HORECA, QSR, Beverages etc.)
  • Generate lead lists of target clients via thorough market analysis
  • New customer acquisition & growth of exisiting customer base via upselling & cross-selling of all Gourmet brands to offer a one-stop-shop solution to clients
  • Closely liaison with exisiting distributors & their sales tems to achieve synergies and accelerate growth
  • Work closely with the current sales manager in Singapore on developing aligned country-level strategies for growth
  • Assist in the ideation & execution of innovative marketing strategies to increase brand awareness & conversion
  • Work closely with our Chocolate Academy Chefs to organize courses, innovation & co-creation sessions for end users
  • Own your KPIs & steer your business independently with the guidance of your manager


About you

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in a business/marketing related field
  • Fluent in English: written & spoken, Mandarin a plus
  • Solid sales & marketing experience, ideally of bakery / pastry products, food ingredients or branded food products
  • Experience in same field gourmet/foodservices industry (Bakery, Horeca, and Ingredient shop) is a must
  • A strong network and reputation in the Food&Beverage scene in Singapore is of advantage 
  • Good understanding or experience of brand marketing is a plus
  • Familiarity with SalesForce & SAP is a plus
  • Competencies in MS Office especially excel & powerpoint is a must
