Manager, Project Innovation, Global Fat Expert

Manager, Global Fat Expert is responsible for leading & deliver global innovation projects of ingredients used in coating, filling & beverages, with a specific focus on fats. This person is also responsible for the fat portfolio used in the BC organization.
This is a 1 year contract role, reporting to the Director, Product Innovation, Ingredients
Key Responsibilities
Manage global fat portfolio and support product innovation across the global (40%)
● Responsible for the fat portfolio across the global
● Use the product expertise to support product innovation activities across the global
Lead & deliver global projects on fats (60%)
● Lead & deliver global innovation projects on fats on time in full
● Engage cross-region and cross-functional teams to provide required support to deliver the global projects
● Plan and manage required resources to deliver the innovation projects
About You:
● Master or PhD degree level in a Science or Engineering discipline, or equivalent
● Minimal 10 years of experience in a relevant role
● Fluent in English. A second language is a plus.
● An experienced product expert in ingredients used in coating & filling, with a specific focus on fats
● Good knowledge of product application, formulation and processing of coating & filling
● Good business acumen in markets
● Good understanding of consumer and customer centric design of product innovation in a B2B business environment
● Able to travel a minimum of 30% of the time
