The Raw materials Planner is responsible for planning raw materials supply for all the sites in NA, considering forecast, inventory and lead times from vendors, so the factories can execute production plans.
This position is also responsible for PO creation and follow up with the vendors, as well as keeping informed the factory scheduling team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Create the needed reports to evaluate raw mats forecast, to actual consumption and inventory position
- Evaluate requirements by site and plan raw mats supply accordingly
- Review the supply plan with each site on a regular basis to get alignment between plan and execution
- Create purchase orders and keep follow up with the vendor
- Provide raw mats supply solutions when needed by coordinating site to site transfers
- The Raw materials Planner provide support to the factories on slow moving/ obsolete raw mats action plans
- The raw materials planner provide support to the factories on raw mats block stock
About you:
- 3 years of experience in similar position
- SAP and BW experience preferred
- Strong background in planning and planning systems
- Strong data analytical skills and great attention to details
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of the production planning process and sourcing
- Solution oriented
