The HR Advisor is responsible for driving the administration and execution of HR transactional processes and support on inquiries or projects related to maintaining day to day operation to deliver operational excellence results according to the GBS HR catalog of services which may include but not limited to: Onboarding, Offboarding, Job Changes, Leave of Absence, Data Administration, etc. As Tier 1 support, HR Advisor will collaborate with HR Stakeholders by being the first responsible for the execution of the HR Operations processes.
Key responsibilities include:

Build and maintain strong professional relationships across the client group and with cross-functional HR stakeholders.

Serve as the primary contact for HR Operations inquiries, resolving daily queries and keeping requestors updated.

Execute end-to-end HR Operations processes and projects in line with policies, ensuring high-quality data management and operational excellence.

Contribute to Operational Excellence by performing defined processes, participating in audits, training, and aligning with KPIs.

Escalate complex queries to Senior Advisor or Lead in a timely manner.

Identify and share best practices to improve service delivery within the HR Operations team.

Handle sensitive HR information confidentially and professionally, adhering to privacy regulations.

Use HRIS proficiently to support and execute HR processes.

Translate employee documentation, training materials, and communications into local languages as needed.

Prepare and execute communications and follow-ups, ensuring timely and accurate responses to HR stakeholder inquiries.

Generate reports and perform analysis on various HR requests and operational data.

Support updates to HR documentation and SOIs, and participate in special projects or other Tier 1 HR duties as assigned.
About you:

Bachelor’s degree required. HR, Business, or related field preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing by being fluent in English and French for CAN.

Basic Excel Skills (Tables, Conditional Formating, Sort & Filter, Text to columns, Remove Duplicates, etc.)

Excellent time management skills.

High attention to detail.

1+ years of HR experience within a Human Resources Shared Services Center model, HR Operations or HR Areas.

Must be able to handle sensitive HR information in a confidential and professional manner.

Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Success Factors, Workday, Service Now, CRM, ADP, People Docs, among others.

Experience with executing data and reporting.

Must work with a customer service mindset.
