The Commodity Logistics Analyst will manage the physical flow of cocoa raw material regionally. The ideal candidate will provide a detailed supply plan of inventory and requirements by coordinating with local and international planning teams, manage inventory and contract flows, contract balances, and lead the Sourcing Requirement planning meetings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build relationship with suppliers and ensure they deliver quality as contracted
- Sample approval management with customers and follow up on approval and rejections
- Identify and manage quality claims and other supplier related claims
- Manage Stock levels to corporate policy levels
- Ensure End-of-Month activities are successfully executed
- Manage and negotiate costs with logistic providers
- Coordinate with brokers to ensure all shipments are customs cleared timely and reach their destination
- Assist with supply strategy development, project and physical position management
About you:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Proficient in English - Speaking and writing.
- 1-5 years of logistics experience (import documentation, incoterms, FDA requirements)
- SAP ERP experience preferred
- Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Able to work independent
