ABOUT THE ROLE 

Eliminate or reduce sources of food safety hazards and improve customer satisfaction. To do this, develop approaches such as HACCP, which aims to identify the critical points in a production line, where microbiological, chemical, physical and allergenic contamination can occur, etc. Train and raise awareness of Good Hygienic and Manufacturing Practices and their application; act as interim Quality Assurance Manager in case of absence; create traceability tools; participate in the certification policy (FSSC 22000, Mondelez, etc.); consolidate Quality kpi data.

 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES INCLUDE

●Manages the HACCP plans for the plant, microbio laboratory and canteen: implementation of controls and corrective actions as required

●Organizes HACCP meetings and ensures that HACCP manuals are updated;

●Ensures that identified CCPs and PPOs are in normal working order and that the control plan for CCP and PPO monitoring equipment is complied with;

●Manage key quality performance indicators. Compile and analyze data, identify areas for improvement and monitor the action plan.

●Consolidate monthly quality reports and prepare quality management reviews.

●Develops and updates procedures and instructions, as well as the product traceability programme; and mock recalls

●Ensures that the Quality and Food Safety System documentation is updated in line with BC standards;

●Incident management and reporting (broken glass, fire, foreign bodies, leakages, etc.);

●Support the management of non-conformities, root causes and corrective actions implemented

●Ensures the application of GMP hygiene audits throughout the plant and externally (canteen, cloakroom, toilets, etc.) and follows up corrective actions.

●Coordinate and participate in internal audit

●Implements GMP/FFP and food safety awareness sessions for all Sicc staff and contractors;

●Perform trending analysis, statistical data review to develop improvement plans (Environmental Monitoring Program, Pest Control, Sanitation)

●Follows the execution, according to the established schedule, of pest control within the plant with reporting;

●Follows the factory and canteen cleaning schedule.

●Takes part in product tasting.

●Assist the Quality Manager in drawing up annual forecasts for orders for consumables, and represent him/her in the event of unavailability.

 

ABOUT YOU

●Agro-Industrial Engineer

●Bachelor's/Master's degree in Food Science/Biochemistry/Microbiology/ or similar

●At least 02- 03 years' experience in quality in the food industry.

●Good knowledge of BRC, ISO, Kosher Kraft and other quality standards, in particular HACCP.

●Able to communicate and hold training/awareness sessions.

●At least 2 years' leadership experience

●HACCP and PCQI Certified a plusGood teaching skills

●Strong multitasking skills

●Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload

●Ability to work with little supervision
