About the role

The Senior Treasury Analyst will support the management of a range of financial risks (eg.: liquidity, foreign exchange, insurance, etc) for the South LATAM region. She/he will actively interact with and support other key stakeholders in finance and the wider business to achieve the group’s strategic objectives. The role reports to the Treasury Manager and is based in São Paulo, Brazil.

 

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as front office treasury responsible for South Latam activities;
  • Management of financial risks:  Liquidity (cash management including forecasting), FX exposure, bank relationships, and insurance;
  • Support the local treasurer and  other stakeholders in the main businesses (Chocolate and Cocoa) bringing solutions to a variety of financial risk challenges as well as strategic objectives (eg working capital improvements and free cash flow generation).

 

       About you:

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Economics, or similar;
  • Proven strong background in treasury roles;
  • Experience in agricultural commodity businesses;
  • English business proficiency (written and spoken), Spanish is a differential;
  • Technical proficiency (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv – information platforms, Excel);
  • Proficient user of finance Microsoft Office and ERP Systems (eg SAP);
  • Act to create an opportunity or avoid future crises, with a short to medium term perspective.
