About the role
Barry Callebaut is looking for a Global Corporate Account Manager Latam, responsible for managing the overall relationship with a portfolio of global corporate accounts across the Latin America region. This role is key to ensuring the achievement of ambitious sales targets for both cocoa and chocolate portfolios. The ideal candidate will be able to build and implement a strategic approach that enables local, regional, and global CI&TS, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to operate effectively. This position requires strong commercial acumen, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the B2B food industry.
Key responsabilities include:
- Achieve challenging sales volume and margin targets consistently.
- Monitor and report sales performance across the customer base, delivering insights to local and global teams.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to the planning team.
- Monitor and improve the Net Promoter Score (NPS) of assigned customers.
- Create and implement an annual agenda of projects and innovations.
- Conduct regular visits to customer sites to identify new opportunities and strengthen relationships.
- Analyze sales KPIs (orders, portfolio, pricing, competitor actions, market movements) and take action to meet defined goals.
- Oversee and control customer contracts, pricing, and work closely with the controllership team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline sales processes.
- Maintain up-to-date information in the Sales Force system, ensuring operational transparency.
Scope:
- Region: Latin America
- Portfolios: Cocoa and Chocolate
- Travel Requirements: Approximately 30% of the time on business trips
Qualifications:
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or comparable field;
- Business specialization is a differential;
- Fluent English is mandatory and fluent spanish is a differential;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial area;
- Experience in global account management;
- Experience in the commercial area of B2B food or beverage industry;
- Experience in a multinational environment is desirable;
- Knowledge of the Cocoa and Chocolate market is desirable;
- Familiarity with the Commodities market is a differential.
