About the Role: 

This position ensures capacity availability to produce chocolate and compounds by coordinating incoming supplies and outgoing products; solving and escalating supply and logistical issues and steering the factory capacity plan to eliminate or reduce downtime and costs.


Key responsibilities include: 

  • Comply with all company and department specific quality, safety, SQF, and GMP policies and procedures.
  • Run weekly/monthly Material Requirement Plan (MRP).
  • Identify logistical imbalances, verify raw material availability with Supply Chain Supervisor.
  • Communicate directly with Suppliers and Transportation Resources to confirm deliveries to meet JIT (Just In Time) performance requirements.
  • Ensure and validate WMS (Warehouse Management System) is being followed from reception to production and from Finished Storage to Customer.
  • Provide Support for Supply Chain Supervisor when during time off and support off hour issues when Supply Chain Supervisor is not available.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure food safety initiatives and guidelines are followed.


About you:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Knowledge on capacity/production planning, creation of supply scenarios, etc.
  • Understanding of supply planning processes focused on distribution requirements, raw materials planning and scheduling
  • Analytical and problem solving capabilities to improve production planning activities
  • Deep user knowledge on supply planning and reporting systems (SAP)
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to engage, negotiate, and influence across the supply chain process, both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge on production process.
