HR Executive


About the role:

Our HR Executive  is responsible for all end to end talent acquisition (TA) and onboarding for non- banded employees and below utilizing Success Factor Recruitment Module for BCM is in line with the organization guidelines to support delivery of organization’s objective.


Key Responsibilities includes:

  • Provide key information from analytics to facilitate local management in empowering people activities in effective and consistent way especially in talent acquisition and learning and development.
  • Provide HR data analytics from TA & L&D to enable HR Manager to support strategic decision of the plant.
  • Responsible to provide key informations for effective site manpower planning and budgeting and overall site capability building to support HR Manager.
  • Utilize TA and onboarding to build employee engagement, understand retention challenges, make recommendation to HR Manager and execute aligned solution to retain employee and drive shared organization objectives.  
  • Responsible to maintain and ensure compliance to relevant internal and external standard during plant related certification audit inclusive of foreign worker management thus ensuring smooth operations.
  • Support production capability development initiative for the operations team by identifying opportunities and adding value to key stakeholders.
  • Support HR Manager by working closely with key stakeholders to ensure compliance in audits, participate in plant board and/ or team board.
  • Support local management in non- banded and blue collar recruitment, foreign worker end to end management, internal or external audit, local or regional operational reporting and 3rd party management such as outsourced employees, etc. (if any) to ensure the smooth plant operation.
  • Perform, monitor and evaluate HR Cycle activities in the plant to ensure the compliance & alignment of regional/global policy, need and priority. This includes primarily recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, organizational development, career management and exit procedure.
  • Responsible for end to end foreign worker manager from application, approval, recruitment through to end of contract management.
  • Ensure compliance of foreign worker management, hostel and employee facilities to SMETA/URSA requirements.
  • Monitor employee performance as well as subsequent contract renewal.
  • Perform other related duties as required (e.g, Monthly KPI Reporting , Others projects or initiatives driven by local or regional HR).



About You:

Possess at least Professional specialized education (diploma/degree), ideally in Business Administration and/or social sciences

Minimum 3 years in HR generalist role, experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferably Experienced in talent acquisition and L&D

Knowledge or specific business understanding

  • Well-versed with Malaysia Legislation & Statutory requirement (Employment Act , Industrial Relation Act, SOCSO and EPF) and other relevant standards to ensure compliance
  • Experienced in foreign worker recruitment and management
  • Demonstrate in depth understanding in L&D management and TA
  • Demonstrate ability to link understanding of business operations to TA & L&D initiative
  • Able to analyze data provide information and recommendation
  • Proactive, possess ability to plan, prioritize and drive initiative commitments
  • Good communication skills
