About the role:


The Credit Control team will manage counterparty credit risk for the Asia Pacific region, in close coordination with Finance Business Partners across 7 countries. The team comprise of 2 members, a team manager and a credit control analyst (this role).  The Credit Control Analyst will work in close collaboration with the Credit Control Manager to manage credit activities in accordance with the above to safeguard an acceptable level of credit risk. The role is also responsible to support complex activities, ad hoc requests, and key issues in the execution of duties.


Key responsibilities includes:


  • Support in managing BC Asia Pacific’s credit accounts to maintain positive customer relations and minimize outstanding receivables and credit risk.
  • Conduct periodic/annual review of customers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, payment histories and credit references. Identify negative trends and propose countermeasures.
  • Make recommendations to set customer credit facilities (limits and payment terms) and get approvals for credit limits per credit approval matrix.
  • Support in the management of adverse credit customers/events in collaboration with Sales and Finance Business Partners to recover outstanding.
  • Support running activities and liaising with business stakeholders such as sales or customer service to ensure collection activities are conducted in a timely manner.
  • Manage and release order blocks in accordance with the credit policy.
  • Support the Credit Control Manager to develop, distribute, and monitor credit and collections policies and procedures.
  • Support the Credit Control Manager to monitor the status of credit and collection activities to identify problem areas, implement process/policy changes, and adapt procedures to improve overall performance.


 About You:


  • 3-5 years’ experience in credit control
  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or similar
  • Experience in a multinational company, preferably in B2B / food industries
  • Technical proficiency (e.g., SAP)
  • English business proficiency (written and spoken)
