About the role
- This role works closely together with the Regional Leadership Team members and APAC HR Leadership Team to achieve shared organizational objectives, in particular implementing people solutions that support strategic business goals. As part of APAC HRLT, translate global HR priorities into regional-level business performance.
Key responsibilities include
- HR Partnership with Regional Leadership Team: Leads regional priority projects that support organizational and functional-wide transformation initiatives, and holds shared accountability for successful implementation and its change management and communications.
- HR Cycle Activities: Lead HR Cycle activities for related functions and act as a point of contact for the Regional Leadership Team and their leadership team members e.g. Performance and Development Management, Career Development, Compensation & Benefit, Exit procedure, etc.
- Provide Recruiting & Onboarding support for Exco-1 roles to manage interview & offer process and proper onboarding.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Design HR frameworks and tools within an area of expertise to meet business needs, ensuring compliance with specified design principles, internal policies, and external legal requirements.
- Employee Relations: Investigate, and propose solutions for, complex ER cases in liaison with functional leaders; if required, contribute to the preparation of legal submissions
- Collaborate with the business leaders and/or line managers to achieve shared organizational objectives, in particular implementing people solutions that support strategic business goals.
- Internal key stakeholders:
- APAC Leadership Team: Lead HR priorities to drive key people agenda in APAC
- APAC HR LT: Collectively drive HR Priorities and programs in APAC
- Regional Functional team for OSCO, QA & Information Management: As a critical business partner on key HR/business topics, i.e. Budget process, People related investment, etc.
- APAC Functional Leadership Team OSCO, QA & Information Management: Lead key HR cycle (Recruiting, Talent Cycle, etc.), coach, and provide guidance for managers and employees.
- External stakeholders: Suppliers (vendors, agencies, consultants, Labor Suppliers, etc.): If relevant for regional HR policy and procedures enhancement
About you
- Min. 8 to15 years of work experience in Human Resources
- Min. 2 to 3 years in an HR Leader role in a medium/large size company, or equivalent responsibility to key HR leadership roles preferably in an HRBP role and at least 3 years of experience in a regional capacity within Asia.
- Experience in an MNC environment (Matrix organization). Food industry experience preferred.
- Experience in Project Management and Leadership
- Knowledge in HRIS such as Workday, SAP or SuccessFactors
- Travel requirements: 15% subject to the requirement
- Excellent communication/consultation/analytical skills with emotional intelligence.
- Influencing skill without authority.
