About the role
Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Finance Delivery Lead, SAP to drive the design, development, and integration of our cutting-edge SAP solutions in the finance arena. Reporting to the Director SAP Practice you will manage, mentor and lead the respective business analysts using established processes and procedures. Establishes processes to identify, track, escalate, resolve and report customer-related problems. In collaboration with business, defines standards and measures for quality and customer satisfaction requirements. Provides input and recommendations regarding business continuance issues and improvements to the operations of systems and processes supported.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- The Finance Delivery Lead, SAP is responsible for managing a global team of Business Analysts and outsourced partners to support the ongoing operational management of the SAP environment, incident management and change management.
- Confers with and advises business analysts on administrative policies and procedures, operational problems, priorities, and methods.
- Reviews and evaluates work and prepares performance reports. Mentors’ business analysts for career development and performance improvement.
Scope:
Key stakeholders are in Brussels, Poland, and other locations of our global footprint.
Essential experience & knowledge / technical or functional competencies.
- Graduate degree in IT/technology, data, computer science, engineering, business administration, or a comparable field
- 10-12 years preferred, Minimum of 8 years’ experience in SAP finance applications.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Modules
- Certification in SAP development or relevant SAP modules
- Strong knowledge of the integration of SAP finance modules with other SAP modules (GL, PCA, CO-PA, Product Costing, Treasury, Taxes, and Material Ledger)
- Proficiency in English
- Team management experience (4–5 direct reports)
- Experience in Managing outsourced partners
- 2–3 full-cycle implementation projects with end-to-end and end-user experience.
- Incident / Problem Management
- Manage a global application (for respective module) support function that manages response to incidents
- Drive a problem management culture that identifies root causes for incidents and eliminates recurring incidents
- Monitor key measurable SLA on incident turnaround time and ensure delivery of service to business
- Business Change Management / Project Management
- Manage change management procedures in SAP from business engagement to impact analysis, user testing and gatekeeper for transport to production
- Assist to champion a global SAP council of power users to manage and approve SAP changes
- Drive a culture of proactive engagement with users to preemptively identify business pain points and opportunities for SAP process improvements
- Foster sharing of best practices across SAP business analysts and different business units
- Manage risk of change and new SAP implementations (for respective module) into production environment through effective review and testing procedures
- Participate in SAP projects as SME
