Operator II

Under the direction of the Sr. Production Supervisor, an Operator II is responsible for the effective operation of plant machinery in order to meet production numbers while adhereing to plant GMP and HACCP requirements. To qualify as an Operator I. You must be able to meet and maintain the skill qualifications for 3 to 4 pieces of production machinery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

• Ensures that all machine process are performed according to operating specifications
• Ensures that all product ingredients are loaded into equipment to the correct levels
• Perform equipment set-up and adjustments for processing
• Manage/balance actual product flow through machines accordingly
• Visually monitor machinery and product
• Equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Has responsibility for the sanitation of the working area
• Cross-train in all other areas of operation
• Committed to providing a safe food product
• Works within all regulatory requirements
• Ability to adhere to GMP practices and all other food safety requirements
• Must comply with all OSHA standards
• Perform all other related duties per management direction
