The Analyst, Sales Support collaborates with all Gourmet Regions and Specialties Sales Representatives to support all aspects of customer needs. You are a knowledge expert for Sales on: product information, pricing, reports, forecasting, new product information, and data portals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage customer portals by updating key product information and uploading images.
    •    Download product information from SAP.
    •    Enter information in customer portals (Excel experience required).
    •    Work with the Barry Callebaut Marketing Team to select the correct product images.
    •    Organize photo shoots for new products.
    •    Update products changes or discontinuation.
  2. Provide sales support for national distributors in the US and Canada.
    •    Product information: Provide customers with requested product information, accurately completing customer forms, sample requests, and technical / regulatory information for Quality Assurance related questions.
    •    Pricing: Accurately quote price list products, review and manage price list promotions, and ensure customer specific price list change updates are sent to customers in a timely manner. You will work with customers, Sales, and Pricing teams to quote and book new business, ensuring accurate terms.
    •    Reports: Download and format volume reports, contract balances, and order history, and provide guidance to Sales on analysis of data.
    •    Forecasting: Update forecast values based on customer or Sales feedback. Challenge forecast numbers using history and other data points. Work with Supply Chain and Sales to resolve forecast discrepancies.
    •    New Product Information: Assist Sales in submitting New Product Requests via Salesforce. Monitor flow - assist R&D with questions and changes.
    •    Meetings: Assist Sales in preparing presentations to external and internal audiences. Coordinate meetings and provide guidance on sales results.

 

Qualifications:

●    Bachelor’s degree preferred
●    At least 2 years of experience in a Business environment
●    Software experience: Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Salesforce
●    Ability to effectively work and communicate with various departments

•    Salary Range of $70,000 - $78,000, depending on factors such as experience and location, plus annual bonus and our comprehensive benefits package
