About the job:
This role mainly is to fulfill the end to end delivery arrangement starting from order received and others related transactions within the time line. To maintain the completeness related with outbound delivery transactions and coordination for inbound shipments as assigned (if any) include others related to the shipping document, arrangement and records.
Key responsibilities includes :
• Familiar with full set shipments documentation preparation and arrangement by all ship mode by sea, land, air include export, import, domestic and transport type ie. trucks, tankers, containers, document BL, Certificate of Origin, for shipment to Singapore include GST permit, others as per SI,
• To coordinate, communicate and liaise day to day outbound/inbound with the customer service/ customer (local), inter-company, inter-departments, service provider, warehouse, carriers/freight agent includes submit the document for custom declaration, submit invoice payment on behalf to the forwarder, follow up, update
• Responsible for data entry, updates information in excel/SAP/Polomas etc.
• Actively liaise with forwarder for export/import custom declaration submission on CIPL, SI to the liner, VGM and others related where applicable.
• To book truck/container as per schedule and fulfill delivery requirement as per incoterm and contracts (as assigned if any)
• Update shipment status delivery acknowledgement proof receipt (scan DO with customer signature), coordination with internal warehouse, allocation, QA etc.
• Upload document till complete in shared file GD and Cargoo with customer service.
• Courier complete shipping documents to the customer as per SI
• Process and generate sales invoice (billing) to customer (as assigned if any)
• Follow up, filing and record custom export and import declaration documents and other local authority
• Submit manually COO form copy for MITI filing as per country specified by MITI
• Familiar with incoterms and HS code for export shipments
• Shipment scheduling and coordination (as assigned if any)
• Communication with email, phone and verbal (virtual/ face to face if any)
• Process billing invoice via VIM (as assigned if any)
• To coordinate return cargo arrangement, insurance claim, disposal sales related product shipped (as assigned if any)
• Back up person as assigned within the team and able to work harmoniously with others
About you
• Minimum with Diploma or Degree in related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Shipping/Logistics Management.
• Computer literacy skills and familiar with SAP/Polomas and MS Excel/Word.
• Organized, efficient and have good interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to multitask
• Critical thinking to plan, synchronize and execute complex undertakings and good follow through for completeness is an advantage
