About the role:

As Finance Business Partner CSD for the Novi Sad plant and Serbian Supply Chain, you will be a key strategic partner to plant leadership, supporting decision‑making through financial insights, planning and performance analysis.
This role sits at the intersection of Finance and Operations. You will oversee controlling activities, budgeting, forecasting and cost management while actively contributing to efficiency, continuous improvement and strategic initiatives across the plant. Working closely with the Plant Manager and Supply Chain teams, you help steer the business towards its strategic objectives and long‑term performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the financial results of the Novi Sad plant and Serbian Supply Chain.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for the plant and supply chain.
  • Monitor performance against budget and prior year, identify risks and opportunities, and define mitigation actions with plant management.
  • Prepare and present financial analyses and reports covering manufacturing and supply chain performance.
  • Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor and overheads, in close collaboration with operations and GBS FP&A.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to optimize costs and efficiency, including logistics and supplier‑related topics.
  • Set and maintain standard costs for materials, labor and overhead, ensuring clear cost classification.
  • Manage inventory, spare parts, CAPEX, NRV provisions and accounts payable to optimize cash flow and liquidity.
  • Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with accounting standards and timely closure of internal and external audit findings.
  • Provide financial analysis supporting operational decisions, cost‑reduction initiatives and investment projects.
  • Support CAPEX evaluation, investment feasibility and ROI analysis.
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations and asset counts are performed accurately and on time.
  • Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc analyses (KPIs, PPIs, BPIs, MUV follow‑up), proactively flagging risks and issues.
  • Drive standardization and simplification across CSD Finance processes.
  • Initiate and contribute to finance projects related to stock, costing, data accuracy and process improvement.
  • Support make‑or‑buy analysis in subcontracting discussions.

 

About you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Finance Controller or in a similar controlling role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, operational excellence and supply chain finance.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment, preferably within B2B or food industries.
  • Solid SAP knowledge; strong Excel skills and familiarity with data and reporting tools (e.g. SAP BW, Power BI).
  • Hands‑on, proactive mindset with the ability to work at both operational and strategic levels.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Comfortable working in a changing environment and driving improvements.
