About the role

The Chocolate Academy's Chef is the engine of his Brand. He or she must be strong in proposition & creatives ideas. He or she should lead the action plan over a year, in agreements with Sales managers and Marketing Manager Gourmet.

 

This position supports the brand on the Russian&CIS markets through hands-on trainings, demos and customer support activities at customer's sites or in the Chocolate Academy Russia. Trains distributors sales force to work with our brands through all applications.

 

Participates in exibitions, forums and other public events basing on requests and arrangements of Marketing Manager Gourmet to demonstrate products or services and promote the Chocolate Academy Russia and brands. Demonstrate and exlplain products, methods, or services in order to persuade customers to purchase products.

 

The Chocolate Academy's Chef are an important source of feedback from the field regarding the new & possible trends, but also they can provide ideas for new products to be launched.

 

Key responsibilities include

  • Maintain a positive relation with our customers, to provide service that competitors do not;
  • Help customers develop recipes with BC Products, pushing new products;
  • Provide accurate product application using BC Products vs. Competitor products;
  • Visit BAPA, HORECA, Confectioneries, trade shows and other venues to demonstrate products or services, and to answer questions from customers&potential customers, and create demand for new products through networking;
  • Demonstrate and explain products, methods, or services in order to persuade customers to purchase products;
  • Research the industry and identify key development trends across products, service, people, equipment and concepts for inclusion in strategic and tactical improvement planning;
  • Develop in collaboration with the marketing team&sales team the technical plan;
  • Participating in variuous meetings, Technical Adviser Meeting, regional and international Ambassador meetings;
  • The proper management of personal expenses and costs associated with trainings and demonstrations;
  • Fulfilled any other duties as assigned by the Head of the Chocolate Academy.

 

About You

  • 5 years of experience in the food business industry including 2 years of experience as Chef;
  • Mastered different production segments: bakeries, traditional patisseries, artisanal and semi-industrial confectionery, QSR, all level HoReCa, coffee shop, training in schools;
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (English - Russian);
  • Ready to travel in CIS&Russia;
  • School qualiications or diploma equivalent;
  • Capability to speak easily to public with positive and humor.
