JOB DESCRIPTION
The Inventory Planner provides support to the Sr Inventory Manager on getting inventory analysis completed for all the locations in North America. This role is also responsible for keeping a regular tracking on the inventory level performance by working directly with the sites.
The Inventory Planner works close to the factories to make sure raw materials stocks are in good shape for keeping the operation running, this role is actively supporting with contracts follow up and materials flows troubleshooting while maintaining a good collaboration with the factory planners for reaching inventory level targets.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
● Manage Inventory settings in SAP/ Item extensions
● Monitor inventory performance – populate the information, and create reports for reviewing, manage, and determine the performance of the different locations in NA including Finish goods and Raw Mats.
● Build slow moving report on a regular basis and provide support to the sites for completing RCA’s and create action plans around them.
● Get KPI’s reports completed for the Sr Inventory Manager to manage results across the Supply Chain and drive to action
● Prepare presentations, reports as needed for Management review and decision making
● Keep regular reviews with the manufacturing to ensure supply and to keep appropriate stock level
Scope:
● The inventory planner works with all of the North America sites, including Mexico
● Provides relevant information on time for the Sr Inventory Manager and for the sites, about the inventory performance
● Supports the Supply Chain team in NA with inventory analysis, for them to drive the needed actions
PROFILE
● 2-3 years relevant work experience in an inventory planning role
● Bachelor’s degree
● Advanced English skills
● SAP BO Analyzer, Business Warehouse experience preferred
● Experience with RCA tools
