Perform specific activities in the Microbiology laboratory in a timely manner, including but not limited to: sample collection, processing, and delivering results for raw materials, finished products, environmental samples, and any other samples required due to a specific event.

 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Collect raw material (MP) and finished product (PT) samples in the Production areas and warehouses, as well as those collected in the

physical-chemical analysis laboratory.

• Daily analysis of raw material (MP) and finished product (PT) samples from the Toluca plant.

• Record the receipt conditions of the samples received in the laboratory (PT, MP, and environmental samples).

• Perform the necessary environmental sampling for the environmental monitoring programs for Barry Callebaut Monterrey (air, surface, water, recirculation water, compressed air, laboratory environments).

• Prepare product samples (in-process, finished products, raw materials) daily for microbiological analysis under aseptic conditions.

• Conduct microbiological analysis techniques for all samples generated at the BC Monterrey plant and those received from BC Toluca.

• Record each of the microbiological analysis activities conducted within the laboratory in the appropriate logbooks.

• Verify all weighing, volume, and temperature equipment as applicable according to established frequencies.

 

About you:

  • 1 year of experience in Lab Activities (Desirable)
  • Bachelors Degree
  • SAP Desirable
  • QA Basic Concepts (Quality Control and testing)
