About the Role                                                               

“You will be at the heart of our business”

Key responsibilities include 

  • You will become an expert in our product line – work closely with our R&D to understand business requirements and market needs
  • You will play a key role in our overall projects
  • You will own customer´s requests
  • You will be the interface between internal and external stakeholders such as R&D and sales in projects
  • You will help customers to select best solutions – and help them expand their business
  • Build trusting relationships – internal and external
  • Establish, maintain and prioritize an accurate and current sales funnel
  • Develop and grow your region to increase customer portfolio
  • Maintain a professional and innovative image of Barry Callebaut with customers, competitors, and colleagues

 

About you : 

 

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Economics/Business/Food Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in Marketing, R&D, Sales
  • Strong Segment insight (market, consumer, customer, retail) is a must
  • Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus.
  • Customer focus – Ability to fulfil customer needs and expectations. Must be professional and confident with internal and external customers
  • Passionate about success and delivering operational excellence, whilst sharing best practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a true service attitude
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • This is a field-based role and travel will be required. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license
