In a business to business context you will interact with confectionery, bakery, dairy, ice cream customers. You are the key contact for our customer. You are responsible to manage the overall relation with the customers in your portfolio. 

 

For your portfolio of customers, you will have a target on volume and margin, for which you are responsible. Some of it is realized through team effort. You have a helicopter view on your total business and give guidance to other departments how they can contribute to customer satisfaction and successful execution of business opportunities.

You pursue sales leads; visit existing and new customers; assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services; respond to customer inquiries; negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority; and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets. Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business. Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands. Establish annual business plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met.  You get the autonomy to manage your portfolio of customers, as if it was your own business.  You will experience a diversity of products ranging from chocolate, compounds, caramels, nuts, inclusions, fillings, 2D/3D printing and much more...

You are part of the Nordics team and travel regularly to your customers. 

 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Perform sales activities for achievement of sales budget and targets within sales territory in order to meet commercial objectives
  • Propose sales improvements and new ways to approach actual and potential customers in sales territory
  • Actively communicate with sales team, manager and other departments within the organisation regarding targets, customers, new trends, opportunities, etc.
  • Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships and ensure professional customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Ensure knowledge and know-how within area of expertise is continuously updated and relevant
  • Validate the accuracy and appropriateness of the data used and ensure relevance and high quality of data output e.g. reports, analysis
  • Actively transfer information and feedback from the market/customers to managers and colleagues and relevant other departments
  • Actively increase own professional knowledge and expertise and ensure understanding of the global BC organization

 

REQUIRED ACADEMIC & TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Master degree or equal by relevant experience

  • Master degree or equal by relevant experience
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office products
  • English – advanced level
  • Danish – advanced level
