Sales Support Specialist, Sr. is a customer-focused professional responsible for processing sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position identifies potential opportunities with our customers, maintain order databases, update project status and work on those projects with both internal and external teams. This role involves assisting the Director, Sales Strategic Accounts to perform KPIs for the department and guide the Sales Support Specialists in the day to day tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service and addressing their needs promptly.
- Assist in managing customer accounts, including handling customer requests, updating account information, and resolving customer concerns.
- Coordinate and track sales leads, monitor the progress of sales activities, and provide regular updates to the sales director.
- Follow up projects with customer to improve relationship and obtain additional volume by leading activities both internally and externally.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of sales strategies and campaigns, including lead generation and follow-up activities.
- Provide administrative support to the sales director, including managing tasks, scheduling meetings appointments, and organizing meetings.
- Assist in the preparation and generation of sales reports, presentations, Kpis reports both for Mexico and Global, etc.
- Creation or update of the following documents: Balance of Contracts (open contracts), sales reports, corporate presentations, projects report and KPI’s.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in business/economics/international Relations/Industrial Engineering or similar.
- Spanish and English business proficiency (written and spoken)
- Basic Finance knowledge
- Proficient knowledge in Power Point & Excel
- Analytical skills will be ideal for the job position.
- This position requires a person that is organized, proactive, results oriented, reliable and with strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with people and convince others to drive change, strong attention to details and time management.
- Positive and optimistic attitude, self-motivated, balance of strategic and pragmatic, curious and fast learner would be ideal skills for this position due to the challenges in this area.
- Experience working with pricing and commercial teams
