About the role:

The Cocoa Sales representative will increase the profitability of the business and sales volume of cocoa powder, butter and liquor, according to the Company's strategic plan, through actions focused on satisfying customer needs, as sources of value, achieving long-term business relationships. Collaborates and acts in coordination with the Planning, Quality, Research and Development, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance teams to achieve sales in a timely manner.

 

Key responsibilities include:

● Responsible for implementing and executing the North America Sales business strategy.

● Increase sales volume and profitability of the business, through new customer prospecting, customer maintenance and business recovery.

● Identify customer needs and wants, through the promotion of powders, butter and liquor.

● Properly perform sales forecasting in accordance with Company plans and processes.

● Plan the frequency of visits to customers to maintain good relationships, anticipate their purchasing needs and increase business.

● Collaborate with the Finance area to maintain a healthy credit portfolio.

● Develop new projects with acceptable volumes and work closely with the Research and Development area to achieve successful fulfillment.

● Develop the sales budget and generate actions to meet it.

● Identify the competition, analyze the way they operate (advantages, strengths, weaknesses) and establish an action plan to capture customers.

● Provide after-sales service

● Comply with Barry Callebaut Policies.

 

About you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in International Commerce / Business management / Marketing or related
  • English skills – conversational level
  • Professional Sales experience (+3 years)
  • Knowledge of the chocolate, bakery, cookie and cereal and/or ice cream market
  • SAP / Salesforce experience
