Global Brand Manager Cacao Barry 

8 months fixed term contract


As the Global Brand Manager Cacao Barry, you contribute to develop and execute the global marketing strategy for the premium chocolate brand, Cacao Barry, across +90 markets to meet our brand ambition: be innovators & leaders in Fine Flavour Excellence to empower all the creative chefs to express their true nature.


This position will involve a combination of strategic thinking and execution on all touchpoints with a strong coordinator role within the Marketing team and communication planning and execution (focused on digital first). The Global Brand Manager will work closely with the Global Brand Leader Cacao Barry and the other members of the Global Cacao Barry team (the Global Customer Experience Manager as well as the Global Creative Chef). Flexible and continuous stakeholder management towards the 4 regions’ marketing teams is needed. Strong collaboration with Chefs, from the Chocolate Academy centers and with external chefs will be essential to the role’s success.


Missions : 


  • Development and roll-out of the Cacao Barry global brand strategy alongside the Cacao Barry Global Brand Leader: ensuring that Cacao Barry’s vision, mission and promise are executed with consistency in +90 markets (brand positioning, brand guidelines, key assets, sustainability commitment, product launches etc.). 

  • Manage the Cacao Barry portfolio renovation/innovation with multiple stakeholders across the organization (Supply chain, Production, Sales, Packaging, Chocolate Academy, Segment & local marketing, R&D, Q&A, Digital, CMI, etc.) to deliver business results.

  • Analyze insights and determine opportunities. 

  • Development of the go-to-market strategy for new launches including 360° global marketing campaigns for product launches. Manage the development of these campaigns with key internal partners and agencies and ensure its local roll-out.

  • Definition and management of the global digital content strategy through the different communication channels (social media, CMS website, SEO, organic & paid media and marketing automation tool, Pardot). Track and interpret campaign performance data and translate into actions.

  • Plan and Develop with the digital team the new website structure and content.

  • Work closely with local marketing teams to ensure alignment with the overall global strategy. Define and communicate modifications based on local market needs. 

  • Supervise and manage the marketing budget: manage invoices, update the budget file etc.

  • Maintain the internal Global Cacao Barry web-portal.


Profile : 

  • Bachelor / Master Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or similar

  • 5+ years of relevant Marketing experience in the B2B food industry

  • Strong experience in Digital marketing (in-depth knowledge of social media, paid SoMe, Google analytics, CMS website and automation marketing tool are a must, Pardot is a plus)

  • 5+ Experience in Project Management and Leadership

  • Knowledgeable in MS Office Suite

  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce is an asset

  • French & English - advanced level, are a must

  • Travel requirements: 15%
