About the role 

 

  • Locally, we’re making big steps forward with the imminent commissioning of our new and state-of-the-art factory at Campbellfield, where we are seeking an experienced Logistics & Warehouse Manager to lead our Warehouse team in meeting daily operating commitments, while also developing new practices as we implement SAP across our operations and link to global ways of working.
  • This role demands an ability to be able to look to the horizon when planning new processes while simultaneously supporting the team in day-to-day operational activity.
  • You‘ll be responsible for all aspects of operational logistics management and warehouse leadership. As a member of the site leadership team, you will act as an ambassador of our global culture and provide specialist knowledge on your area of operations.

 

Key responsibilities include

 

  • Leading all Warehouse and Logistics operations and activities on site
  • Building processes around SAP workflows to ensure seamless handling of inwards and outwards materials and the end product
  • Managing data accuracy and compliance to SAP workflows
  • Managing stock and raw materials
  • Ensuring constant cleanliness and efficiency of storage areas, including temperature control
  • Coordinating and executing International Shipping commitments
  • Representing of Logistics & Warehouse function on the Site Leadership Team
  • Liaising & aligning with key stakeholders on-site and overseas

 

About you 

  • The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate strong experience in managing warehouse and logistics operations with food (or at least perishable goods) and in leading great people in a values-driven culture. Your experience implementing new processes is essential and your exposure to operating with SAP will be well regarded. Working within the complex, multi-national environments will also be valuable in quickly connecting to our operations and proposing improvements.
  • Exposure to other areas of logistics such as Warehouse Planning or Shipping coordination, particularly within SAP workflows, will be highly regarded.
