About the role:

Based at Louviers, France
As part of the Western Europe Planning Cocoa Department, the Junior Solid Planner reports directly to the Senior Planner. The Western Europe Planning Cocoa Department is in charge of the entire product planning management in Europe (3 plants: Hamburg, Gravelines) from providers to customers. Associated with supply chain departments and operations services, the Junior Planner will be in charge of solid part of cocoa product. 


Responsibilities are:

1. Solid ATP Europe management (cakes, powder, liquor…)

  • Approve intercompany and providers orders to follow midterm planning, Raw material planning, and provider planning. Follow up product availabilities to promise;
  • Complete and update production planning on SAP and check the availability of the finished goods according to forecast;
  • Propose planning adjustment;
  • Assess and identify issues and be able to provide advice and solutions;
  • Order to change and R&D block stock follow up.

2. ATP Planning follow up

  • Take part in the Lead Operations daily routine meeting (Louviers/Hamburg) with all parties involved;
  • Produce and assemble the solid planning with the Senior Solid Planner and Plant management;
  • OTIF management with the support of the transport team;
  • Identify the need to collect inputs from and coordinate with other Business Unit experts on specific subjects.

3. Participate to the Europe Sale Meeting

  • Identify planning priorities actions with Sales and Customer Care;
  • Update planning files and ERP (SKU, excess stock, free to sell, dead stocks);
  • Tale a part in supply chain continuous improvement projects.

4. Stock Management 

  • Perform restricted stock management with QA and the Inventory Manager;
  • Keep an eye on product mobility and transfer management.

About you:

  • Master degree preferably in Supply Chain
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a planning environment in a similar sector (pharma tech, agrobuisness and agro tech). 
  • Expertise in SAP, BW and Excel;
  • Analytical skills and detail oriented;
  • Customer service oriented;
  • Fluent in English - French is a plus;
  • Good priority management.
