About the role
According to the Quality Assurance strategy, the QA Manager plans, organizes, coordinates and controls all Quality Assurance activities on the site in order to achieve the objectives set in the short and medium term.
Key responsibilities include
Developing the quality strategy
- Translate the Group quality strategy into a local strategy and implement it within the framework of its area of responsibility
- Define local strategic objectives and actively participate in the implementation of the local quality strategy
- Ensure compliance with the Group quality strategy
Ensuring management of the quality system and customer quality monitoring
- Participate in the development and implementation of a Quality Management System (guidelines, procedures and operational procedures) taking into account the Group's Quality and environmental guidelines and meeting French and European legal obligations.
- Support and monitor the quality system in order to obtain the necessary certifications
- Implement and monitor quality system improvements
- Guarantee the effectiveness of control procedures at all stages of product processing
- Guarantee the quality of services to internal and external customers according Customer and Barry Callebaut requirements
- Ensure compliance of applicable quality audits with certifications, lead on Customer audits and participate in carrying out audits of service providers or subcontractors
- Raise awareness, advise and train external companies and customers on quality issues
- Ensure compliance of internal rules with European agri-food regulations and take into account export requirements on products
- Validate specifications according to customer requirements / Group requests
- Carry out approval audits of subcontractors according to the program established by the Group
- After the audits, communicate to subcontractors about the corrective actions to be implemented and the desired improvement actions
- Ensure the implementation of corrective actions
- Manage disputes with customers
Supervising and leading the team
- Participate in the recruitment of your team
- Conduct annual evaluation interviews
- Lead operational QA meetings (daily, weekly, etc.) and participate in site meetings such as (CODIR, Plantboard, etc.)
- Define training needs
- Manage the personnel administration of the team
- Improve service efficiency
- Create and monitor team performance indicators
- Prepare and manage the Quality budget and quality CAPEX
Communication and training
- Apply and respect the procedures and instructions transmitted by Site Management
- Report to Site Management any anomalies encountered
- Welcome a new employee or temporary worker
- Integrate a new employee or temporary worker
- Train a new employee or temporary worker
About you
- Bachelor or Engineering Diploma in agri-food with at least 10 years of experience in an industrial environment
Internal knowledge : Organization procedures and knowledge of the site
