About the Role
As Export Customer Agent you are managing our chocolate flows from our Global Distribution Center to third-party as well as intercompany customers all over the world. In this role, you monitor the order to cash process from order processing up to logistics (mainly sea freight). You act as the customer’s central point of contact within Barry Callebaut in order to make sure all customer’s needs are met.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Monitoring the order to cash process to make sure we deliver in time and in full to our customers - and at the right price
- Managing transport - mainly sea freight - and coordinating loadings with the warehouse
- Ensuring that all customer and legal requirements are met
- Act as customer’s central point of contact within Barry Callebaut and work together with other departments to respond to all the customer’s needs
About You
- You followed higher education (bachelor/master) is preferably a commercial or logistics direction
- Experience in expedition and international logistics is a big plus
- You are exceptionally customer-friendly and service-oriented
- You are solution-oriented and are able to think outside the box
- Stress resistance is very important in order to deal with the challenging ocean logistics
- You have a good dose of positive assertiveness and commercial feeling
- You like to work in a team and you communicate in an open and enthusiastic way
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- You have an affinity with IT systems
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Input/recommendations for potential improvements in our process flows are very much supported
